Prokosko lake and the village that is located near the lake is one of the most beautiful tourist destination for those who seeking old native way of life in a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina.That lake is located on Vranica mountain at the altitude of 1635 meters above sea level.
Ordinary life on Bosnian mountains
In the past there were only a few houses for shepherds and the mountain lodge where you can enjoy peace and calmnes of the lake. Today the situation is completely different with almost 250 houses illegally built. But some of the old spirit of this village remained and could be seen by the eye of the artist. On this video you can see the pieces of the ordinary life of locals that at the end shows us how do they live on that altitude away from cities and stress. It's a cold day, parts of the lake are frozen, but people continue with they life.
