Bijele vode and Sabici village circle tour

Bjelasnica mountain is very close to Sarajevo and with it's great cycling potential it is great place for weekend bicycle rides. This tour happened sometimes in May. Snow traces was visible on the mountains peaks, but weather was relatively warm and pleasant for ride.

Our target was visiting Sabici and Rakitnica villages - but through it's backdoor. Most people came to these villages by the main road, but we liked to do something different and choose unpaved road that led behind Hojta hill over Bijela ljeska.

From that road you can clearly see Dejcici and Dujmovici villages and on one part you can almost "touch" Treskavica mountain with it's beauty and glory. When you descend from Bijela ljeska you will came to the Pijevac creek and Rakitnica village. After that we came back over the main road to our cars at Babin do on Bjelasnica mountain.

During our journey we passed by Bijele vode (White waters) region that is famous because of large number of water streams that is visible on pictures.
